12 more days....
Yes, while my family begins their summer vacation, I'm still in work mode. Calendars, e-mails, to-do lists, and meetings are filling my brain as much as video games are filling theirs.
Luckily, the next 3 days will be spent at a conference in Roanoke. I'm looking forward to spending some time with music teacher peeps in a relaxing mountain setting. The conference, "Creativity in the Classroom", will hopefully affirm my thoughts about modern pedagogy.
I'm fortunate to be attending with some dear friends, so I can't wait to play "catch up" with their lives. The boost of estrogen won't hurt either.
