We had a diversion at the Ranch tonight (Oh shock!).
Back in high school, we watched a Laurel and Hardy movie called "The Music Box". This short film depicts the escapades of two piano movers as they attempt to make an extremely difficult delivery. I found it online and showed it to the boys.
We barely made it. Our wet eyes and soiled underwear were evidence of what a wonderful movie this is!
One particular scene struck me: Laurel and Hardy were trying to clean up a room after a series of disasters. While one picked up trash and put it in a pile, the other picked it up from the pile and put it back in the original place. In other words, they were going around in circles to a medley of patriotic music.
It looked all too familiar!
